Is There Global Cooling?
(the antithesis of a warming world?)
Is There Global Warming?
Welcome........
I am not a scientist and do not pretend to be. But, I have been watching the issue of climate change now for two decades and have found it is not what many say it is. Here are a collection of articles, sources, and information. Use it if you like. Hopefully it will encourage you to seek your own truth since this is one of the great issues of our time.

How temperatures are measured is important......
Europe cooling since 1992 due to the return of forests, land use has big impact on temperatures link
Joe D'Aleo report link
Temperatures rise in Toyky but cool on nearby rural Japanese Island link
California, peer review urban warming, no rural warming map link
All those factors raise temperatures so that a city’s downtown area can be 10°F higher than nearby rural areas. Despite urban areas representing less than 3% of the USA’s land surface, 82% of our weather stations are located in urbanized areas.
Impact of urban heat island on global temperatures, report link
Humans are increasingly inhabiting urban environments with 66% of humans projected to inhabit urban areas by 2030. High population densities typically reduce cooling vegetation, reduce wetlands and soil moisture, and increase landscape areas covered by heat retaining pavements. Thus, we should expect trends biased from urbanized landscapes to continue to rise. But there is a real solution to this “urban climate crisis.” It requires increasing vegetation, creating more parks and greenbelts, restoring wetlands and streams, and reducing heat absorbing pavements and roofs. Reducing CO2concentrations will not reduce stifling urban temperatures. Report link
